Specialized healthcare for teenagers and young adults aged 10-24 years
At Hope Medical Centre, we recognise that adolescents face unique health challenges as they transition from childhood to adulthood. Our Adolescent Health Services are designed to provide friendly, confidential, and comprehensive care that supports their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where adolescents can freely discuss their health concerns and receive professional guidance from trained health workers.
Comprehensive physical examinations, growth monitoring, and developmental assessments.

Counseling for anxiety, depression, stress management, and behavioral issues.
Guidance on healthy eating, weight management, and addressing eating disorders.
Education, counseling, and support for tobacco, alcohol, and drug-related issues.
Care for asthma, diabetes, and other chronic conditions in adolescents.
Yes, we maintain strict confidentiality for all adolescent patients. However, we encourage open communication with parents/guardians when appropriate and with the adolescent's consent. In emergency situations or when there's risk of harm, we follow established protocols for necessary disclosures.
Adolescents aged 16 and above can generally seek healthcare independently for most services. For those under 16, we assess their maturity and understanding. We welcome adolescents to come alone or with parents/guardians, based on their comfort level and the nature of the visit.
Yes, we provide all recommended adolescent vaccinations including HPV vaccine, Tdap booster, meningococcal vaccine, and catch-up vaccinations. We also offer information about vaccines and address any concerns adolescents or parents may have.
We provide confidential mental health screening, counseling, and referral services. Our approach includes individual counseling, family therapy when appropriate, and connection to specialized mental health services if needed. We address issues like anxiety, depression, academic stress, and relationship challenges.
